The Barn

The Cottage is all on one level and would be particularly suitable for families or couples wanting a quiet holiday together.

Both properties have all of the usual amenities and are well-maintained. The location is ideal for a peaceful holiday with archaeological sites, excellent fishing, beautiful walking country and RSPB reserves all nearby. The village of Evie has a shop and Post Office, and a bar which provides snack meals. A little further afield, local hotels prepare more substantial meals. Kirkwall and Stromness are both approximately 17 miles distant.

Situated on the hillside overlooking Evie village, the Barn and Cottage are set in approximately three acres of land, and enjoy panoramic views over Aikerness Bay, the Broch of Gurness and the North Isles. Old Bogie offers self-catering accommodation of individual character.

Each building sleeps 5/6 people, the Barn on two floors has bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor, with the open-plan living and kitchen area on the floor above. This has exposed beams and a wooden floor
