Friendly Orcadian run family business on a small farm in the parish of Rendall in Orkney's West Mainland. Riff is conveniently located for the ferry to Rousay, Wyre and Egilsay, and is ideally situated as a touring base for those with a car.

The dwellinghouse was built in the early 1980's and is situated close to the shore, where seals and otters may sometimes be seen.

Riff has a 3 Star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board.

The house overlooks Wide Firth Bay and beyond to several of the North Isles and part of the East Mainland. Guests may sit in the garden and relax and enjoy the beautiful views.

We have a double en-suite room with shower on the ground floor. This room features a four-poster bed. Upstairs is a twin en-suite room with bath and shower over bath. Both rooms have colour TV, tea making facilities and hair dryers. The comfortable lounge contains a colour TV, books and games and is available for guests' use throughout the day.

Breakfast, which features a wide and varied menu, is served in the dining room until 9.00 am. Optional dinner is served at 7.00.pm, but we can easily alter times to fit in with our guests arrangements. We cater for vegetarians, and packed lunches are available on request. All meals are home cooked using fresh local produce wherever possible.
